Last year, we began to talk about how we are "called to be saints" and to look to the many examples we have to inspire us in our struggle. This year, we will look more closely at some of the recent great lights of the Russian Church abroad for further inspiration and instruction.

This year's divine services will be held overnight, in conjunction with the celebration of the New Year.

Please note: To protect everybody's health, nobody who is ill when conference begins will be allowed to attend, even if they've traveled a long distance. There is more specific information on the medical form. Registration insurance is available (see below) for a small fee in case you need to cancel for any reason.

The registration fee is $225. Registration deadline is December 1st, 2025. After this time, late registration will be $300.

Our schedule affords ample time to hang out with new and old friends.

The choir has been a hallmark of our conference for years. Everybody sings, and thereby acquires a greater appreciation for our divine services.

And sometimes, you just need a moment to drift away in song.

Break-out groups with the clergy provide a time for reflection, conversation and good questions and answers.

Festal divine services are at the heart of our program, providing an opportunity to thank and worship God under the leadership of our Archpastor and to partake of the Holy Mysteries.

In recent years, contra and Russian folk dancing have become a popular tradition. Even those who are hesitant at first usually enjoy dancing for an hour or two.

Paintball!

We sometimes have an outing outside of camp: bowling, tubing, skating.

This year, we will spend an afternoon in historic Galveston.

Several times, monks from Holy Cross Monastery have joined us in Cincinnatti for a liturgical arts practicum. We made prosphora, candles and incense.


Engaging speakers on relevant topics inspire reflection, conversation and sometimes even life changes.

Mealtime is always full of fun and fellowship! In response to critiques of "camp food", two of our Matushkas have taken up the challenge and will be preparing all of the meals themselves.

Most years (probably not this year) we spend 2-3 hours volunteering: a food pantry, a child care or battered women's shelter, or a monastery.

Please pick up attendees by 9:30. Make sure to check out as we cannot leave until everybody is accounted for.

Each participant is responsible for their own transportation. Various parishes are making group transportation arrangements, as well. If you will be traveling by plane, please provide us with your flight plans in advance so that we can arrange to pick you up at the airport. Packing List

  • Bedding: Sleeping bag or linens, pillow
  • Towels and toiletries
  • Water bottle
  • Rain protection (a poncho or raincoat is ideal)
  • Several changes of clothes appropriate for church (Dress shirts and pants for boys, skirts/dresses for girls). 
  • Warm clothes and footwear for outdoor activities.
  • Prayer book to help with preparation for Holy Communion. 
  • You may want a camera and/or flashlight.
  • You are welcome to bring a musical instrument!

Things NOT to Bring

  • Electronic devices, except for cameras.

In order to facilitate vibrant in-person communication and enable everybody to be fully present and make new friends, conference will be phone free. Cabin counselors will keep all cell phones and provide access for a limited time each day. If you have an emergency and need to contact your child at any time call Fr. Nicholas Park at (972) 839-2439.

  • Food and snacks - they are not allowed in the cabins, because they are attractive to critters.
  • Alcohol and cigarettes are prohibited even if you are of legal age.
  • Weapons.
  • Please note that neither the diocese nor the camp can be responsible for any lost valuables.

The true cost of this year’s conference is closer to $300 per participant, and we are able to offer the more affordable $225 cost due to the generosity of our donors.
